We are glad to pick you up from your cruise or hotel in Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle, transfer to Aswan airport for short flight to Abu Simbel. In Abu Simbel you will accopanied by your private tour guide and private van to visit the majestic temples of Abu Simble and Nefertari, who appears as Hathor, the Goddess of love, joy and fertility, symbolized by the benevolent cow. Abu Simbel temples were hewn out of rock cliffs during the reign of Ramses II, in order to avoid the rising waters caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam in the 1960s, the colossal statues of Ramses II and the temples were cut into 950 blocks and reassembled farther inland. Colossal figures of Ramses are seated with the Gods and attended by his queen and daughters, then you will return to Abu Simbel airport for your flight back to Aswan with direct transfer to your cruise or hotel in Aswan.
